Shopify offers a hosting service! with a single email address linked to the domain if you manage the domain with Shopify. You will therefore not have to purchase an external hosting service. The problem is rather linked to the domain (the www…): the email address with your domain email (@domainname.it) will only work “incoming” as a redirect to another personal email! for example a gmail. But if you have to reply to a user who writes to you! this user will receive the email from your personal email address and not from the domain email. Definitely unprofessional.
It is therefore advisable to choose to purchase the domain from an external provider (from Aruba to Register! from Serverplan to Siteground or Netsons! you are spoiled for choice)! with which you can have infinite email addresses to manage in complete autonomy. Shopify already welcomes this option! configurable in a few clicks.
Cookies and Privacy Policy + Cookie Consent
To put it simply: these are the policies required by law and the banner to give users the option to accept or refuse cookies installed by your site.
You can always do it with iubenda! or linkedin database by filling in the fields available in Shopify with the text of the policy. If you use iubenda! you can embed the code of the generated policies in a new page (but not in the “legal” area made available by Shopify)! so the text of the policies will appear and will be constantly updated! in case of updates made automatically by iubenda or updates to the services entered by you during the setup phase of the policies.
There are also Apps to manage banners! but in the free version they do not allow the user to accept cookies! therefore they would not allow you to comply precisely with the law. One name above all: EU Cookie Bar by Booster App . But I repeat: better to use iubenda.

Shopify App for Translations
Only if you need a multilingual site! then you will have to download an App to fully manage the translations. I point out two possibilities:
- Translation Lab – with more than enough free features for full use. A bit confusing when searching for some translations
- G-Translate – A more expensive! but definitely more professional solution
