4 basic concepts to start from

For work I come across many websites every week: whether they are good or bad! they have in common the fact that they publish content on the most varied topics.

An obvious aspect! which naturally catches the eye! is the fact that it is the websites that have maintained a consistency of publication and a “freshness” in updating the written contents that have a strong visibility on Google :

They are “healthy” websites! with texts and topics addressed professionally! with quality and precision! on which it is also easier to set up a job that aims to improve the positioning of the site on Google! pay per click campaigns! a Social Media Marketing or E-Mail Marketing strategy.

The reason?

The “company blog” or “news area” if you prefer! is the most classic web space of a site that is not born as a simple personal blog! but whose purpose is to propose goods or services of a brand. But the blog area does not exist only : quality content – even in multimedia form – can and must be cultivated throughout the website! from the homepage to the contact page! passing through the FAQ! glossaries or the classic “about us”.

Content Marketing and Google Positioning: Where to Start?

Today I want to share some “well-established rcs database ways of thinking ” – in my humble opinion – regarding the creation and updating of the contents of a website! always with a view to Google positioning.

They are not particular rules or tricks: I believe they are more thought patterns that can put you on the right path! even a little regardless of the specific knowledge that you may have (or not have) on SEO.

From experience! it is better to avoid “building too many castles” related to keywords. You quickly end up doing keyword stuffing .
Especially at the beginning of the work seo, strategies and helpful tips of preparing a content! it risks being counterproductive to create a cage of categories! tags and keywords to move around.

Stop thinking about keywords

It is better to start by talking about what you know ! the basics of your profession or business! examining all the main topics and providing answers to the most frequent doubts.

Once the key topics have been exhausted! related “paths” to follow will emerge quite naturally! natural sets of sub-topics that can be touched upon or explored in greater depth! possibly even on other web pages.

A natural evolution of this approach cuba leads will be the discovery of very relevant themes that you had not initially thought of! which deserve autonomy : they can become very substantial contents (cornerstone contents! i.e. “angular”!

Some contents! then! will be a sort of index from which to start further insights: these are the so-called “pillar” contents from which to subsequently generate other specific insights! to be treated separately (and to be linked in the main pillar article).
